Motorola signs deal with Bharat Electronics to develop communication services
On November 4, 2022 by PramodMotorola Solutions India Pvt Ltd, a telecom equipment provider based in Bangalore, has entered into an agreement with government-owned Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) to provide assistance with communication services. Under the agreement, both companies will utilize each other’s resources in the development of devices for the professional mobile radio market, focusing on broadband and push-to-talk (PTT) services. These devices will utilize Motorola’s WAVE PTX PTT service to improve connection speed and efficiency within teams.
WAVE PTX is a multimedia communication service developed by Motorola. It enables cross-functional teams to connect, even without a network. Devices that incorporate this technology allow users to connect with their team members with the push of a button, without any range limitations.
BEL has been involved in other initiatives as well. According to a PTI report, the company has signed an agreement with Singapore-based company INERY to collaborate on Blockchain technology. This agreement aims to leverage the resources of both companies and enhance their respective product offerings by integrating BEL’s complementary functionalities with INERY’s solutions.
Additionally, BEL has also signed an agreement with Bosch Global Software Technologies Pvt Ltd (BGSW) to collaborate in the fields of e-Governance, ERP, and cloud solutions.
